It's a damn shame you're leaving. I've loved Madness for years now, and your animations were always ones that stuck out to me. In a good way, of course. But it's your decision, and I gotta respect that. Besides, I can completely understand "retiring" after how long you've done this, haha. But I gotta ask... how do you do it? The animating in general, I mean. As I said, I've loved Madness for years now. Ever since I first saw it, and I say that other people were making their own unique Madness content, I too wanted to jump on the bandwagon. But of course, I realized it wouldn't be a simple as opening Flash one day and going nuts. So I gotta ask; how do you start out? Madness tutorials are few and far between, and aren't usually that beginner friendly. They expect you to have some common knowledge. But I guess that's just a fault on my part. So how about this; how do I get into animating in general? Do you personally recommend any tutorials, or any people to talk to? I'd love to get into it sometime, as I have a LOT of free time currently, and hell, I might even make a name for myself. And I'd love to say that Gabriel Barsch, local meme/crazy man helped me out.

hello TheTalonKing, well the ways i animate are quite unorthodox, because i use tweens for smoother movement instead of frame by frame like most people do, but i do recommend people to animate frame by frame, because its way more pratical and easier, but requires more training and practice to reach a fluid movement.
i start out without knowing the basics of flash , resulting in a rushed and poorly-planned start, so i watched some of alpha-nuva's madness tutorials on youtube (he was the best on that age when i first started, and still is) so if you wish to start, i highly recommend you to practice alot and learn everything about flash (i suppose flash are available to purchase online somewhere, there are lots of versions, try to pick the most recent one), theres lot of online tutorials on youtube about flash and madness animation, even krinkels does timelapses which is very inspiring.
since alpha-nuva's madness video tutorials are nowhere to be found since he deleted his channels
the tutorials i recommend for you are from the most experienced and skilled people i found, so avoid watching tutorials or timelapses from beginners, they usually dont help much

Animating is very time consuming and tiresome, keep that in mind, (this shouldn't be a problem to you....for now) but the outcome is always rewarding, try not to mimic what others do, instead, develop your own style taking references from things you enjoy like games, movies or other styles of animations, even animes for intance
